What is Protective Lens?

Laser protection lenses are mainly used in laser cutting and welding machines to block or prevent high-temperature splashes from damaging the valuable laser focusing lenses, but they cannot reduce the laser output energy. As a final optical component, they are placed in the work area to protect the high-value internal parts and are used in the laser heads of laser cutting and welding machines.

The damage threshold can reach 20J/cm² in the wavelength range of 1030-1080nm, and the transmittance can reach 99.85% or 99.99%, so that the laser can better penetrate the lens to reach the processing parts.

It can withstand the high temperature generated during the operation and is not easily deformed or damaged by high temperature, ensuring stable operation in high temperature environment.

Under the premise of ensuring strength and optical performance, the thickness of the lens is reduced as much as possible to adapt to the compact structure of the laser equipment, which is easy to install and use.
